Snow Capades info

It's that cold snowy time of year again. Snow Capades is Saturday, January 16th. Please remember the following:

1. A snow park permit is required if you are driving your own car.
2. Please meet at the TES school parking lot at 6:45 am so we can caravan up to Lake of the Woods. We are parking in a new lot this year, and would rather everyone stick together if possible.
3. If you are signed up to ride the bus, please meet the bus in the parking lot at 6:30am.
4. If you need a list of recommended items to bring, please see Kim Beer, or email your den leader for more information.
5. This is an all day activity. Please be prepared to spend the day in the snow. 1/2 mile walk in AND out, along with a day of walking to each activity.
6. You are your child's buddy. Therefore, if they need to leave the group for any reason, bathroom, first aid, etc. YOU ARE IN CHARGE. The den leaders simply cannot be in charge of all of the kids, and enjoy the event with their own family as well.

We always have a great time, so we'll see everyone bright and early next weekend. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Kim Beer at 512-0091.

Pack Meeting Friday - October 25th

Join Pack 110 for a fun filled evening this Friday, October 25th - we will be having a scavenger hunt! Meet us at 6:30 at TES and don't forget your popcorn orders and prize choice as they NEED to be turned in that night. Any questions regarding popcorn orders, give Stormi Petersen a call at 535-9188 or 821-6082.

Tonight is the first pack meeting of the season - come get information for the year and get your popcorn sales information (it's that time of year already!).

Graduation!!!

It's time to watch as our Scouts move on to the next level. I can't believe another year has came and went!

Graduation will be this Friday, May 29th at T.E.S. The ceremony begins at 7pm. Please invite friends and family, as this is a special time for the Scouts. They have worked hard for this!

Also, raingutter regatta is coming up. June 6th at Home Depot in Phoenix from 10-2. We are using this as a recruitment for new Scouts, so it should be a good time! Please have the boys invite any friends interested in scouting, grades 1-5 (next year grades).

Almost April already?

Hello Scout families! We are creeping closer and closer to springtime activities. With baseball and soccer starting up, it can be a very busy time for scout families! Please mark you calender before it fills up, as you don't want to miss the fun pack meeting we have planned for April!

April 6th - TES gym 6:30

Mini Camp night!!! This will be a fun evening of skits, den yells, even s'mores! We are working on getting ready for camp, and want to give the boys a taste of the fun they can have at summer camp. There will also be information for parents, so if you are planning on going to camp, this is a must attend meeting!

I hope everyone enjoyed the bridging/awards ceremony! What a great accomplishment for the boys that are moving on to Boy Scouts! Hopefully it has inspired some of the younger boys to stick with Scouting!

February happenings for Pack 110!

First of all, thank you to everyone who participated in Snow Capades last weekend, a great time was had by all! They do such a great job up there, and our Scouts did an excellent job behaving and having an all around great time. I've seen some of the pictures floating around, and there isn't a Scout who doesn't have a huge smile on their face! I'm sure the boys all slept soundly that night - I know mine did!

February is another busy month for Scouts! We have a couple of activities in addition to the normal den meeting schedule.

Scout Sunday is February 8th - Scouts who wear their uniform to their church service need to notify their den leader, as they earn a segment for this.

Scout Sabbath is the following Saturday. Please notify your den leader if your Scout participates in this activity.

Blue & Gold Banquet/Cake Auction - Saturday, February 28th - 5pm. This is a fun evening of awards, potluck dinner, and a great cake auction to benefit our pack. This years theme is "What I Want To Be When I Grow Up". Please see your den leader for food assignments and more information on the cake auction.
